Not Your Baby is an indie-alternative band out of Northeast Minneapolis. All of NYB's members are songwriters, combining their distinct Indie, Punk, Acoustic, and Emo signature styles into eclectic, genre-busting songs. The band features multiple "lead" singers and their performance approach is general queer chaos. They might not be your baby, but you are certainly theirs. Chief Opossum (the first O is silent) combines neotraditional country, hard rock, and a wide range of sounds. Based out of Minneapolis, Chief Opossum evokes the warmth, familiarity, and comfort of the upper Midwest. Having released their debut EP Northerner in early 2024, Chief Opossum is currently developing their first full length album, expected in late 2025. Major influences include Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, and Queens of the Stone Age. Based in St. Paul, MN, The Weeping Covenant is headed by vocalist and songwriter, Michael Beatrez. Writing from a lyrically driven perspective, he generally touches on themes of hope, vulnerability, and love. Beatrez leans into his comfortable sweet spot by singing over soft fingerstyle guitar ballads and rock songs that drive with measured intensity. The music of The Weeping Covenant is rooted in Americana, with pop sensibilities akin to Jeremy Messersmith, piercing storytelling of Jason Isbell, and spacious, sustained vocals that melt into reverb like the ballads of John Denver.
