Celebrate the Chicago Nascar Street Race with Black Oprys Tylar Bryant, EphraIM Bugumba and a special appearance by Khalil Everage (Cobra Kai, Beats, Shooting Stars) Tylar BryantIntroducing the talented singer-songwriter from Texas, who brings a fresh mix of styles and sounds to the country music scene - Bryant. With roots deeply embedded in the heart of country music, Bryant takes pride in his authenticity and versatility as an artist. Drawing inspiration from legendary voices and performers like Jim Reeves, Randy Travis, and Chris Young, he blends modern and traditional country sounds with rock and R&B grooves for a unique and exciting listening experience. Ephraim BugumbaEphraim Bugumba has been busy writing and performing his original music on stages all over the country, including a Top 50 turn on American Idol, a finalist spot on NPRs Tiny Desk Concert series, and winning an International Folk Music Award. Difficult to label, his style of music is a fusion of many styles, undergirded by traditional rhythms that he recalls from his childhood. Ephraim takes his songwriting seriously, allowing the listener to learn of his journey from refugee camps all over Africa before being granted asylum in the States. He carefully crafts both melody and lyrics, heavily emphazing melodies as he believes they tell his story as much as his lyrics do. Bugumba says: The melody of a song has strong narrative qualities. In my own songs I strive for eloquence in the melodies as well as the lyrics.
