The Wonder Ballroom Portland opened as a music venue in 2004, but the building itself was built back in 1914. Decorated in earthy tones, and featuring gothic-style chandeliers, the main auditorium is a unique and distinctive space which has attracted the attention of many, many established acts. Beth Orton, Bat for Lashes, Yo La Tengo, Crash Kings, and Stereolabs are just a few of those featured on the Wonder Ballroom schedule in the past.

In addition to the main auditorium at The Wonder Ballroom is the Under Wonder lounge – a café / restaurant situated in the basement level of the Portland venue. Serving “sophisticated comfort food”, this additional venue provides the perfect solution to the question of “where to eat and still be in time to make the show?” The Wonder Ballroom is indeed, the full package.
