Church in Chicago, Illinois Wicker Park Lutheran Church (WPLC) is a dynamic, growing, and creative community of faith that encompasses all ages, backgrounds, and races. As a congregation, we are a vibrant Christian community focused on a traditional liturgy with progressive theology. The congregation is mainly comprised of young 20 and 30-somethings; however, there are people of most ages, multiple races, and many family configurations. As a "Reconciling in Christ" congregation, we welcome, support, and affirm people of various sexual orientations and gender identities. So too, as an "Immigrant Welcoming Congregation," we advocate for and fully welcome people of various immigration statuses. Where ever you are in your religious or spiritual journey you are welcome!
