San Diego Dance Theater’s Light Box Theater is a theater installment in Building 176 in the ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station at the former Naval Training Center in Point Loma. Similar to traditional black box theaters, the Light Box has been transformed into a fully equipped, exceptionally vibrant, all-white performance space. The Light Box Theater is well suited for individuals and small to large group rehearsals, as well as for artists seeking an alternative and intimate performance space. It is available for classes, workshops, performances and private events. The Light Box is 2500 square feet of versatile space that seats up to 125 audience members on risers and floor seating.
