Venue Information
Comedy club The Shelton Theater, founded in 1993 by Matt Shelton, is a part of the historic Shelton Studios founded in 1961. We host and produce live performances of musicals, narrative plays, improv, poetry, solo performances, play readings, musical events, film screenings, and fine art installations. In addition we offer acting and improvisation classes in San Francisco. We provide artists with the creative respect they need and a venue within which to observe their works. There are two intimate venues of 74 and 70 seats. Thousands of performing artists have created works in these theaters and the Shelton Family has established 533 Sutter St. as a cultural hub. Located in: 7-Eleven
