The story of Tiger really begins where the journeys of FHM Group founders Sonny Mayugba and Dave Pringle intertwine. Sonny is a longtime entrepreneur and operator whose career highlights include founding Heckler Magazine in his early career before going on to work at Facebook in their Global Business Marketing department and would eventually found biteclub.com, the world’s first social network dedicated to the restaurant industry. And Dave is a legacy CPA and CFO that made his initial investment in the hospitality industry in 2011 to “balance out” a business career filled with finance, M&A and income tax challenges. 

The two met while forming the highly regarded Red Rabbit Kitchen and Bar here in Sacramento, and have since formed and funded a handful of other ventures, including the mobile app Requested, which merged into the highly successful Waitr app (Nasdaq:WTRH).
