Event venue in Lexington, Kentucky Owned by the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation, the Dr. Thomas hunt Morgan House was home to Kentucky’s first Nobel Prize winner Dr. Thomas Hunt Morgan. The home and its grounds are able to be rented for a variety of events, including weddings, receptions, and business meetings. Built in 1869, the Dr. Thomas Hunt Morgan House includes a mid-19th century interior, a spacious conference room, the Hon. Foster Pettit Auditorium, and access to our historic garden. The house also has a catering kitchen, an accessibility entrance, as well as a bridal suite, in addition to an available inventory for guest to use.
