The Wolfsonian-Florida International University, located off of Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, is a modern-age museum, book and toy design store, and elegant coffee bar in the heart of South Beach's Art Deco District. One of the largest university art collections and library in the United States and representing the single largest gift to the State of Florida. The Wolfsonian-FIU caters to researchers, students, entrepreneurs, and lovers of art, design, history, film, culture, performance, technology, and industrial design. The museum was founded by philanthropist and collector Mitchell "Micky" Wolfson, Jr., and is located in a historic building that offers beautiful, unique spaces for a variety of special events and party rentals.
