Venue Information
The Sounding Board was established in December, 1973 by the Domler (Bill, Fran, Len and Jan) family with the help of Sandy & Caroline Paton. It was known at first as a traditional folk music venue but, with time musical offerings broadened to include performances by many notable performers from every corner of the folk music world. The Sounding Board stage has hosted Pete Seeger, Odetta, Bruce "Utah" Phillips, Arlo Guthrie, John Hartford, Tom Paxton, Doc Watson and many, many more performers. The coffeehouse continues to present more than 25 shows a year on Saturday nights between September and May.
