Some of the biggest musicians and festivals that travel through New Mexico make a stop at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Albuquerque Presents The Pavilion, commonly known as The Pavilion. The remote location of the outdoor amphitheater allows for plenty of parking, little traffic, and bands that can play as loud and rock as hard as they want to. The Pavilion's schedule of performers is always loaded with the most popular, mainstream acts, and is one of the only places in the area to catch performers of this caliber. The Pavilion opened in 2000 and is located in the Sandia Mountains just west of the South Valley.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is located just 15 minutes south of the venue on Interstate 25, and it often offers buses to and from performances at The Pavilion.
