Venue Information
The Texas Club was designed and built by the Rogers family in 1981. The building's main steel structure was formerly the Continental Trialways bus terminal, located in downtown Baton Rouge. The Texas Club was designed to accommodate large crowds for major concert events without compromising its intimate atmosphere, which is necessary for a viable nightclub.
The Texas Club is respected and recognized as a "must play" venue for national touring acts. The club has played host to multi-platinum entertainers including Garth Brooks and Foreigner prior to their wild successes in the recording industry. The Texas Club produced over 425 concerts for more than 325,000 concert-goers' pleasure, but that is only a fraction of the 3.6 million (and counting) patrons who have entered the front doors and found the party.
