Welcome to Sykes Place On Bank, Decatur Alabama's first privately owned and operated event venue. Located on historic Bank Street, in the heart of downtown Decatur, we are convenient to hotels, restaurants, churches, historic sites and local shopping. We specialize in all types of parties, receptions, weddings, class reunions, and corporate events. Sykes Place has the capacity to accommodate up to 250 guests in 4,000 square feet of open space, in addition to a complete bar and a landscaped patio, which provides additional outdoor seating. We offer a ceiling mounted projector with a retractable screen and an in-house sound system for media viewing and presentations.
