After many hours spent researching and talking with our local, county, and state officials and following CDC guidelines the Story County Fair Association has made the difficult decision to hold only 4-H/FFA exhibit contests during the July 24-29, 2020 Story County Fair. Please know that the fair board is committed to moving forward and planning the 2021 Story County Fair. After consulting with Story County Public Health, Story County Extension, FFA chapters, and Fair Board members, it was determined this was the best decision due to the uncertainty of what the public health situation may look like in mid-July. This decision was not made lightly, as we want nothing more than to have the fair we all know and love. However, adult and youth volunteers, youth exhibitors of Story County, and Extension staff, FFA Advisors, & Fair Board member health and safety are our main concern.
