Inspired by Viking mead halls, this rustic, old-world tavern serves Nordic fare, meads & aquavits. Honoring the Nordic roots of Ballard, Skål (meaning "cheers") is our interpretation of what a Viking meadhall would be like today with a rotating selection of local and Scandinavian craft beer, cider, mead, wine, & aquavit cocktails. The full kitchen is inspired by the idea of a Viking butcher shop. Come have a beer in our new outdoor Beer Garden & help us carry on the Nordic tradition in Ballard!
