Venue Information
Built in 1925 and first occupied in 1926, its building is a contemporary of the Uptown Theatre and the Aragon Ballroom, and is a contributing building to the Federal Uptown Square Historic District. This multi-story building offers office rooms, assembly hall, and theater.
The Preston Bradley Center (PBC) is a beautiful building dedicated in 1926 at the height of Uptown's glory days, with a main hall seating nearly 1100 people close to the stage on two levels with wonderful acoustics and a mural by Louis Grell of an allegorical Jesus speaking to a rural mid-20th Century crowd.
PBC has a great progressive history, and is home to a community and arts organizations that help enrich the culture of Uptown.To ensure the well-being of this historic building, to provide refuge and service to the poor, and to be a resource to the community of Uptown.
