Non-profit organization in Portland, Oregon Polaris Dance Theatre choreographs and stages three fully-stages annual productions to the Greater Portland area and beyond. Artistic Director, Robert Guitron, has been choreographing and teaching dance in Portland for over 30 years. Besides the Polaris Dance Company, Polaris hosts the pre-professional Junior Company for ages 13 - 18, and the youth, Neo Company, for ages 10 - 12. Polaris offers a wide range of classes to youth, adults, and seniors of all skills and abilities, including pre-professional and altered-ability dancers. Classes offered include Aerial, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pilates, Senior Dance, Tap, and Tiny Toes. Our community-oriented programming is staffed with working, professional dancers with a passion for making dance accessible to all. Polaris also offers space rental and dance company and individual dancer bookings for your birthday party or event!
