The PNC Pavilion is the latest addition to the spectacular Riverbend Music Center. The PNC Pavilion concert calendar features the best live musical touring acts. The Riverbend Music Center is Cincinnati's premier outdoor amphitheater. Located along the banks of the Ohio River, the Riverbend Music Center was constructed in 1984 and immediately attracted the nation's most beloved recording stars. The PNC Pavilion was part of the Riverbend Music Center's 2008 expansion project. While the Riverbend Music Center amphitheater can host up to 20,500 patrons; the PNC Pavilion provides for a more intimate setting with capacity for 4,100. The venue was constructed adjacent to the box office and hosts mid-major recording stars. The PNC Pavilion was inaugurated on May 24, 2008 with a performance by Over the Rhine.
