The Phoenix Theatre Company is the oldest arts institution in the State of Arizona and one of the oldest continuously operating arts organizations in the country. As an integral part of Arizona’s cultural landscape, Phoenix Theatre is the only professional theatre in the Valley that provides programming that spans all generations. Major Programs: Mainstage (professional theatre for adult audiences); Summer Camp (inclusive summer theatre camp with trained teaching artists and accommodation specialists); Festival of New American Theatre (offering staged readings of new works and workshops in performance and playwriting, annually); Partners That Heal (specially trained artists customize 250+ improvisational interventions to improve mood and facilitate communication between patients and caregivers in healthcare and trauma facilities)
