New Bern Civic Theatre (NBCT) is a performing arts venue serving as the heart of the art in downtown New Bern dedicated to presenting local concerts, national concerts, and annual seasons of non-professional plays and musicals for the local community and visitors. The historic Athens Theatre has been the home of NBCT since 1980. Performances are usually scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30PM and Sundays at 2:00PM.
