Arena in Biloxi, Mississippi Mississippi Coast Coliseum is an 11,500-seat reserved seating, 15,000 festival seating, multi-purpose arena in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was built in 1977. It hosted the WCW Beach Blast in 1993 and the Sun Belt Conference men's basketball tournament in 1992 and 1993. Located in the heart of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is the largest beachfront facility of its kind in the South. Since its opening in 1977, the Coast landmark has played host to Broadway theater, comedians, professional sports, rodeos, festivals, circuses, and world-class performances by artists such as Elton John, Luciano Pavarotti, The Eagles, and Cher. The Coast Coliseum continues to be the crowd favorite for sports and live entertainment, drawing year-round attendees.
