The City of Kirkwood held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Performing Arts Center on Thursday, November 8, 2018 and is slated to be open for limited tours in starting August 2020. The Performing Arts Center is at the corner of South Taylor Avenue and Monroe Avenue in downtown Kirkwood (GPS address: 210 E. Monroe Ave. Kirkwood MO, 63122). Upon completion and opening, Resident Arts Organizations (RAO's) will be anchored by STAGES St. Louis, Kirkwood Theatre Guild and the Kirkwood Youth Theatre program. Both Stages and Kirkwood Theatre Guild have generously contributed to the development of the Center.
