Park in Eureka, California The old Jefferson Elementary School has been transformed by community volunteers of Eureka’s Westside Community Improvement Association (WCIA). The Jefferson Project has already completed a playground area with new equipment and has opened the building to many organizations for meetings and recreational activities. The excitement builds as our neighborhood shows its commitment to a clean safe neighborhood full of activities for all ages, from gardening and cooking to dance and drumming, improving oneself an learning new skills.
