University in Saint Paul, Minnesota The Klas Center is a four-level multi-use facility. The first floor features Klas Cafe, a popular place to grab coffee, Subway sandwiches, or snacks. The open space is a great place to study or meet friends. The Ronald and Marilyn Mitsch History Lounge, also located on the first floor, is an interactive history center featuring photos and historical facts about Hamline, Minnesota's first university. The second floor offers flexible classroom and meeting space and the stadium’s press box. The third floor features the Kay Fredericks Room, a large banquet and events hall offering impressive views of Old Main Mall and Klas Field.
