We are now facing a new threat to Greynolds Park and surrounding neighborhood, as the City of NMB planning staff is processing an application to re-zone the “Braha Dixie” land next to the park to “mixed-use” zoning to allow 10-story high building(s) that will contain at least 300 apartments/condos and retail establishments, along with a 600-car parking garage to accommodate the apartment dwellers and shoppers.
