In June 2013, Fay Gold reopened her art gallery in the new Westside Cultural Arts Center. She had been working as an art consultant since closing her previous gallery in 2009. She is known for her groundbreaking exhibitions of artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat , Cindy Sherman, Robert Rauschenberg, Alex Katz, Keith Haring, Irving Penn, Andre Serrano. and Robert Mapplethorpe. Gold continues to be dedicated to enriching the Atlanta art scene. She has received the Big Thinker Award from the Brain Injury Association of Georgia, The Creating Pride Award, the Diva for Life Award and the Living Arts Award and Atlanta Magazine named Fay Gold one of the 50 people who made Atlanta in their 50th anniversary issue. She was vice president of the International Women’s Forum, Georgia Chapter. In March 2010 Fay was the commencement speaker at the University of Georgia, Lamar Dodd School of Art.
