Introduction to Visual & Performing Arts at St. Francis High School provides all students with an appreciation of the history of drama, art and music. Students are exposed to the influences on style, techniques, as well as contributions of master artists in each field. Opportunities to demonstrate abilities in each of the arts prepare students for future advanced study. Students enjoy a new state-of-the-art theater and new classrooms for music and art. With the completion of a 12,000 square foot Degheri Performing Arts Center in September 2002, students are not only exposed to a variety of offerings within the arts, they will gain hands-on experience in a facility that is dedicated entirely to the arts.
