Event venue in Boulder, Colorado The University Theatre Building is home to multiple performance venues and rehearsal spaces. It's located on the CU Boulder campus at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The Loft Theatre is located on the top floor of the east wing of the University Theatre Building. The Loft is an intimate black box space located directly above the University Theatre. From the lobby of the University Theatre, walk up the stairs on your right (following the maroon stripe on the wall), or take the elevator to level UR.
