Church in Seattle, Washington 7400 WOODLAWN is... repurposing the church on the corner of Woodlawn & Latona in order to build community in the Green Lake neighborhood through the arts and other events as well as partnerships with non-profits like The Children's School (a Montessori-based preschool opening at 7400 Woodlawn in 2018). EMMAUS TABLE is... a newly forming neighborhood-rooted, inclusive, inter-generational, open and affirming worship community grounded in a Lutheran expression of Christianity. Through sung evening prayer, Eucharist services, walks, potluck meals, and other contemplative forms of prayer, Emmaus Table is exploring new ways of being a church community and discerning what it is to follow the life and teachings of Jesus in the neighborhood.
