Public library in Beaverton, Oregon Beaverton City Library, the third busiest library in the state in terms of collection use, serves a population of approximately 148,000 (the population of Beaverton plus a portion of the unincorporated residents of Washington County). Each month, more than 67,000 people visit the library to check out more than 350,000 items. The total annual circulation is nearly 2.75 million items. The library has two facilities, each open seven days per week. Beaverton City Library Main, located on the corner of 5th and Hall, is a 69,000 sq. ft. full-service library. The main library maintains a collection of over 350,000 items and has meeting rooms, a computer lab and a lot of youth programs.
