Soundbar (Formerly Backbooth) had just undergone Full Venue Renovations set the bar high with the new ownership setting and Vibes as mid January 2018 This Venue has been in its Downtown Orlando location since 2000. Before Soundbar, it was known as a popular beer and wine bar across the street from the University of Central Florida and for 15 years a live music venue and Divebar known as Backbooth, which pre- viously was the beatnik coffee house, Java Jabbers. In all of its stages it has been a home for live music and art. In its time on the Downtown scene, its popularity has soared. While these days you are more likely to see people slamming shots of Jack than sipping on glasses of wine, its reputation as a music venue has grown to being named one of the best live music venues in the city, according to Orlando Weekly, and still boasts the most impressive draft selection in downtown.
