Venue Information
The Ascarate Fishing Club is an all-volunteer, non-profit (501-C-3) educational organization founded in 2004 to teach kids, ages 3 to 16, the joys of fishing, ecological responsibility, and how to enjoy the outdoors.
The club meets regularly on the first Saturday of each month at it's Club House on the east side of Ascarate Lake on Thomason Loop in El Paso, TX and hosts four tournaments a year. Young anglers and their families are invited to attend the clinics and events to learn basic fishing techniques.
Ascarate Fishing Club relies on the support of tax-deductible donations from El Paso businesses, the volunteer efforts of its members, and Texas Parks and Wildlife certified fishing instructors. Events are co-sponsored by the El Paso County Park, Golf, and Aquatics Division.
