SET IN A GREENERY-FILLED ARTISTIC ENVIRONMENT, AMERICAN SON PRESENTS SIMPLE YET THOUGHTFUL PRESENTATIONS OF AMERICAN COMFORT FOOD, USING INGREDIENTS AND TECHNIQUES INFLUENCED BY MA’S OWN IMMIGRANT BACKGROUND AS A SECOND GENERATION AMERICAN. THE RESTAURANT WILL HAVE A HEIGHTENED FOCUS ON VEGETABLE-FORWARD CUISINE AND ALL THINGS LOCAL, WITH SEASONAL PRODUCE SOURCED FROM THE HOTEL’S ROOFTOP GARDEN AS WELL AS FROM LONG-STANDING PURVEYORS, INCLUDING ZERO-WASTE FARM, GREEN CIRCLE CHICKEN, AND THE CERTIFIED ORGANIC AND CHEMICAL-FREE LANCASTER FARMS. AMERICAN SON WILL ALSO OFFER A SPECIAL LATE NIGHT MENU, CREATING A GRITTY, FAMILIAR “PEACH PIT”-INSPIRED AFTER-HOURS HANGOUT IN THE DOWNTOWN D.C. NEIGHBORHOOD.
