Venue Information

The Albany Community Charter School Step Team was started in February 2008 by Ms. Brandi Davis and three 1st grade students Jaela, Elijahnae and Ondia. These young ladies willingly gave up their recess time to learn and teach each other different steps. Their first performance as The ACCS Step Team was at a Star Assembly in June 2008.
The following school year girls were very eager to be a part of the team. Tryouts were open to 2nd and 3rd graders and a team of 27 girls was formed. By the end of the 2008-2009 school year the step team grew to 31 girls.
