SLAM is the newest addition to the Mater Academy network of high performing charter schools. SLAM will offer a unique sports leadership curriculum across grades 6-12 for students pursuing careers in the sports field. SLAM will also provide students with year-round opportunities to intern with athletic teams and professionals in the sports industry. By choosing a major area of interest, students will receive exposure to a career field of their choice within the following career academies: • Academy of Sports Management and Marketing • Academy of Sports Broadcasting and Communications • Academy of Sports Medicine and Health Sciences
